Merry Christmas

Greetings all,

Another year is upon us and we are moving quicking to Christmas. May we never forget the reason for the season is Jesus!

The children are visiting their dad which makes for a lonely mom. I've been checking off the "to-do" lists which never seem to end. They return on Christmas day for rounds of gift giving and dinner at Grandma's. It could be the last Christmas at Mom and Dad's as they are scheduled [in only the way Dad can] to put the house up for sale in May.

Merry Christmas to all and a very safe and Happy New Year.

Just starting out ...

Well all, I'm going to attempt to try this blog "thing". For those of you who find this, please be patient as I will try to update it semi-regularly.

Brother Leonard leaves for Iraq end of December, his second time. This brings about mixed emotions for all of us, especially Mom and Dad.

More to come later but I'm going to publish now to see how it looks.
